this is Fake standing on the edge of her home catherdral in Alsace-Lorraine.her sister, Magpie, is perched with her.Magpie & Fake are only sisters 'cos Magpie was born on the same day Fake was created.they can't talk to each other though because Magpie is well obviously a bird & Fake is a grotesque.Fake is very lonely.she wards off misfortune as she keeps safe your dreams & wishes.there are other grotesques & gargoyles strung sporadically among the cathedral , but Fake was created by a Finnish man therefore she can only speak Finnish while the other's speak French.oh unfortunate.Magpie likes to carry a star at the end of a string.i don't know why.birds are pretty weird sometimes.
